Three wonderful years

Three years ago today my mommy was recovering from a surgery that helped create me. Mommy and Daddy had problems getting the stork to schedule a delivery so they had to go to a special doctor to do something called IVF in order to get things going. I was headed in their direction after April 5, 2007, but it took about 9 months for me to arrive. That's quite the wait!

We didn't do a whole lot during the day today to celebrate since Daddy was back at work so Mommy got me all dressed up and took me to the carousel at the mall after dinner. I insisted that I needed to wear my cowboy hat to ride the horse. **Note from Mommy: Mina has decided that she'll wear her sunhat inside and has decided to wear her mittens now that the snow has melted.I had to wait my turn to ride the carousel. I was a very patient girl.I loved the ride!Mommy says that I look like a little doll come to life in this picture.Where'd Mina go?Daddy gave me lots of kisses and thanked Mommy for all the shots she went through to make me.And now we have another miracle too. I take credit for Charlotte. I "fixed" Mommy's body which helped make my little sister.

The Easter bunny brought me some fun stuff this year. I got this cool clock puzzle, fruit snacks, clothes, and money in eggs that were hidden all over the main level.I really had to concentrate to find all the eggs. The Buddy tried to help.
Tomorrow is going to be a crazy day for Mommy. The house is getting appraised at 11am, inspected at 12:30, and then reviewed with the buyers at 3pm. Mommy told them they could come as long as we didn't have to be gone so I get to take my nap in my crib. We're going to tot lot in the morning so I won't have a chance to mess up the house. This should be the last major hurdle in the house selling process before closing.

Fun

It's been a great week. Daddy has been in on all of our normal activities and we've even done a couple of extra fun things. I can't wait until he's home more in a couple of months! Mommy took me to the park with some friends and to a picnic after Kidercise on Friday. It was really windy so she had us do our picnic in the back of the car. I loved looking out the back at all the birds.I had a lot to say to Mommy. It was mostly, "What's that? What are these?"Daddy snapped a picture of me in Kidercise class. I'm the one in the orange shirt and pink pants. Trust me, my outfit matched if you saw the front.We watched a pig movie for family date night tonight and I snuggled with Charlotte. She gives me huge smiles.She likes to sit on my lap.Cheese!Her favorite place to be is in Mommy's arms. That's where you see the biggest smiles.Tomorrow is Easter and then Monday is my special day. I wonder what my parents have cooked up next?!

Bye bye, Mama!

That's what I say when Mama tries to tell me not to do something. I say, "Bye bye, Daddy," and wave my hand at him too. It's my version of "talk to the hand."Mommy insisted that I'm too big for Charlotte's swing, but I showed her that I fit. She told me that I fit in her arms much better and gave me some snuggles. How's that for punishment?Charlotte and I watched some cartoons together this morning.Bubba had a vet appointment this morning in West Liberty. I went with Daddy while Mommy went to a store with Charlotte. Afterwards we went to El Patio and had a nice lunch. I was well-behaved as usual.Charlotte was well-behaved too. She knows just how to act in a restaurant.I've decided to wake up early from my nap so that we can go play at the park this afternoon. Enjoy the sunshine!

Seven

I was causing my mother some grief this week and getting up early. One day I was awake and yelling before 6am! A few days ago, Mommy and Daddy started talking about the number 7 and showing me what it looks like on my clocks. They told me I could get out of my crib once I saw a 7. This morning my clock had a 7 on it so I yelled, "YAY! Out time!" and my parents came and got me out of my crib. Are you impressed? Now Mommy needs to teach me the number 30 because 7:00 on the nose was still a bit early.

Alphabet Song

I sang a song and Daddy did a video without my knowledge. Enjoy! I performed at the grocery store this morning too.

Fashion Police

Apparently my sister loves "What Not to Wear" so I'm in big trouble. She's going to turn me in for this outfit for sure.She's going to have a tough time bringing me down though.I ate at the dinner table like a perfect little lady last night.Charlotte had to show off her cute diaper.Miss Jamie caught Charlotte's typical expression when Mommy picks her up after her nap. She's one happy baby!I got to ride Mommy's back like a monkey this morning. We went over to the mall to meet Jamie, Matthew, and Alaina and Mommy decided that she should get some exercise. We walked there and back. Mommy put me in the Babyhawk mei tai carrier on her back and it was really fun. I loved being close to her and getting to look all around. Plus, it was funny when Mommy huffed and puffed on the way home when we went up the hill. She's going to fit into her jeans again in no time if she does that with any frequency.

We went to Kohl's yesterday and I was a big helper. I pushed the buttons to open the doors for Mommy. I love to help.

On Tuesday we went to tot lot and I pedalled the trike for a while. Mommy was so happy for me.

I've recently learned how to count to 15 and can sing the alphabet almost perfectly. I ask Mommy, "What's that, Mama?" all day long so my vocabulary is expanding rapidly. Just wait until I start asking, "Why, Mama?" all day long!

We're going to Kidercise tomorrow and then Daddy is on vacation for a whole week. We have lots of fun things planned - tot lot, vet appointment, Kidercise, family date nights, etc.
