Full Term
This is Andrea again. Mina can come out anytime now. She's considered full term so she shouldn't have health issues at this point. I've had a few contractions at this point, but my doctor thinks Mina won't come until January. We can't wait to meet her.

First Entry
This is Mina's mom Andrea. I created this blog for Mina today. I can't wait until she's here to "speak" for herself. There are only 10 more weeks until her due date. She's been kicking me all day and is eager to meet you all. We have her nursery ready and all of the essentials in place.
For those of you wondering about her name, here's the story. Her dad and I were discussing names one Sunday morning after we found out she was a girl and I ran across the name Mina in a newspaper article. I looked up the meaning and the popularity and we made the decision based on that. Mina means love and Catherine means pure. Since Mina Catherine was created from pure love it seemed that the name fit her perfectly. Also, Grandpa Craig wanted us to name her Minnie and that's a great nickname for Mina. Catherine is the name of Mina's Grandma Cathy.
