I've been busy "helping" Mama a bunch lately, whether she wants help or not. I went through a sweet stage for about a week and a half.Charlotte continues to be in a sweet stage.Daddy likes to pick me up by my head. This is also how I like to pick up Charlotte.Mama took me to our park the other day.I learned how to make snow angels.I even went down the slides.I'm so cool.

I had my three year appointment last week and I'm very healthy. I weighed about 32 pounds and was around 40 inches tall. I still have a bit of a heart murmur, but the doctor wasn't concerned.

I'm still keeping my sheets dry and not wearing diapers. It's awesome!

Dry Sheets

I'm so good at using the potty that Mama and Daddy let me wear my panties to bed the last couple of nights. My sheets got wet on the first night, but last night I kept them dry. Go me! Now I'll be able to wear panties all the time once I get over my fear of pooping on the potty. I did it on Thursday and was so proud of myself, but I haven't been able to do it since. I was in quite a tizzy this morning and Mama gave in after a few hours of me crying for a diaper. Instant relief. I lucked out since we're having babysitters tonight. She didn't want them to have to deal with my bathroom antics. Hailey and Macy are watching us while Daddy and Mama go to a gourmet dinner. We're going to have pizza. We're so lucky!

My baby sister turned one and I love, love, love her. We're good buddies. We play chase and hide and go seek. I snuggle and kiss her.I've been really sweet for the last few days. Mama and Daddy are storing it up for the next naughty phase.I decided to get dressed up for Charlotte's party.Daddy needed help cleaning the floors for company so I jumped in and gave him a hand.Charlotte came downstairs to see what we were doing.She had to take a turn cleaning too.I've been doing a lot of this lately. Aren't you proud of me? I still poo in the diaper though.

It sounds like Nana and Papa were both very, very sick a couple of days ago so I don't get to see them for a few days. I hope they're feeling better!

Hailey and Macy are going to babysit us on Saturday night. It'll be the first time we're watched by non-adults. It's going to be so much fun! I'll be really, really good for them because I think they're so cool.

Ta da da!I'm back and feeling awesome!Daddy was sick, but he's better and silly too.Mama gave me a bath and then Daddy got the snuggling afterwards.Clean Charlotte.Charlotte gets a little rough sometimes.You don't even want to know what happened with the carpet. Let's just say that there was a whole path that looked like this from my room to Mama's bedside.Daddy borrowed a steam cleaner and got it all fixed up. I supervised.Charlotte wanted to help too.We've had a really fun week. We went to Stay & Play at the library meeting room on Tuesday morning. I painted a puzzle and a snake and saw some friends. I went to my first storytime at the library yesterday morning. I got to put the sandbox on the flannel board. My teacher was really nice and I got a sucker afterwards. We went to Tot Spot this morning and I got to see my great grandma. I made a train out of the chairs and she gave me a ticket and she was the caboose and it was fun, fun, fun. Tomorrow I get to go to Mom and Kids Club. I'm so excited!!!

Mama and Daddy are enjoying my healthiness. I'm full of spunk. :)

Sick

It all started a couple of days before Christmas. I had a bit of a snotty nose that just wouldn't go away. I was still feeling pretty good, but I resisted my naps and got up early in the morning for a few days. My body just couldn't keep up. One day I fell asleep while Mama was cooking supper.I eventually got a fever (of 103.7 at one point) and my eye got all messed up looking. Mama took me to the doctor and the doctor said --pink eye!I was on pink eye meds and still wasn't getting better so Mama took me to another doctor and the doctor said -- sinus infection and unknown eye problem that needs to be looked at by a specialist. I have that appointment today. Anyway, I'm on the mend. Don't I look fabulous?I have had some fun times even though I've been sick. My kitchen got moved up to the play room and Nana and Papa bought me a table and chairs. Charlotte and I have enjoyed playing with the Yo Gabba Gabba magnet board together.Charlotte is a pest so Mama puts her in the jumperoo sometimes so I can play in peace.Daddy took down the closet door so the play room now has more space and sunshine.Mama's new washer came and it's awesome. Pure entertainment. It makes crazy sounding noises.It's been snowing and snowing the last couple of days. This is what our front step looked like about an hour after Daddy had shoveled.
Hopefully I'll be all better by the next blog post! Three weeks is an awful long time to be sick.
