We've missed Daddy this week, but had a fun time anyway. We spent the day at Grandpa and Grandma's house on Sunday. I played with the guys in the basement with Grandpa.Charlotte has really started to get grabby with my toys. She always wants what I have. However, she doesn't want the bop in the head that I'm willing to give her. We've been doing baths in the morning while Mama's in charge of them. No bed head for me! I found a coloring book with paints in the cupboard and begged Mama to paint. I have painted every day since and haven't made any messes. My big girl bed came on Tuesday. I LOVE it.I also got a new dresser for my clothes. My panties (that I never wear) even get their own drawer.Mama left the crib in my room because she wasn't planning to transition to my new bed until after Daddy got home.I had other plans. I insisted on sleeping in my new bed. I've done well with it so far. I fell out onto some pillows on the first night, but I went right back asleep. I haven't fallen since. I haven't wandered much either. The only problem has been mornings. On the first morning Bubba came in and woke me up since my door was open a bit. This morning I dirtied my diaper so I went and found Mama to help me out. It was 6:30 so I almost made it to 7. Not bad for a start!Besides changing to a big girl bed and learning to paint, I've also gotten brave. I allowed Mama to put money into the ride and I didn't scream and cry like a weenie the other night. Mama was so proud of me for being strong and having fun.Daddy has been sending me funny pictures while he's away. I hope he's enjoyed the pictures of me!

Mmm...yellow peppers.Mama and Daddy went to a football game without us kids on Saturday. We had Claudia and family come play with us all day long.I think Mama missed me!Daddy took some pictures of me wearing my costume on Halloween. Enjoy. All ready for trick or treatingLook at this awesome dog!I asked to pet every dog we saw.I loved trick or treating and was very good about saying "trick or treat" and "thank you" this year.
Yesterday was an interesting day for us. I carried Charlotte around by her head (trying to get her to leave the electrical cords alone), bit Mama's ear hard enough to draw blood (a bit too excited of an ear kiss), removed even more of the circles from my wall (because they don't belong there in my opinion), and destroyed a library book. We went to the library so I could apologize to the librarian. I said, "Sorry for ripping the book," and then Mama had to give them money. Oops.

Plex and Polka Dots

Plex!We went to a party last night and Plex got to make pizza.Plex also played with a bunch of princesses, strawberry shortcake, and a purple crayon.Plex didn't understand the game "Hot Pumpkin." Plex said, "thank you" every time he got the pumpkin and didn't pass it on very quickly.Mama and Charlotte the Giraffe enjoyed the party too.Candy corn. Yum.Mama finished doing the dots in my room. We're still waiting on furniture and for some pictures, but here's the progress. Mama put this up. It will be hiding behind the dresser, but it's there. You can see my big girl quilt by the mirror. I really like the owls and the polka dots on my new chair. The birdies are kissing and 186 is down low. My room is a happy place. Now I just need to get out of my prison!I love my desk and looking out the windows. Mama has told me to never, ever, ever lean against the windows because I'm way up high and could go splat.
Have a happy Halloween. We'll have more pictures to share after trick or treating.

Progress

We've been hard at work at my house. Daddy and Mama made my room the weekend project. Daddy spent almost every waking moment getting rid of the princess room. Mama took a few pictures of the process.I helped out with the ladder. Daddy liked it when I held his legs while he painted, but Mama didn't get any pictures of that. The painting is all done, but there is still work to be done. Mama is going to do polka dots of various colors in the bottom half of the room. There are pictures to be hung and best of all, my big girl furniture has been ordered. Hopefully it will all come together once those final things get done.I've also started doing "school" with Daddy and Mama. I particularly enjoy mazes. Here's one that I did yesterday.
I told my first joke last night. "Are you AB? No, you're a C!!!" Hilarious, huh?
