Learning New Things

I've learned a lot of new things in the last couple of weeks, but before we get to that, I thought I'd share some pictures with you. Here I am with my friend Plex. We play doctor together.Mom had the camera turned so I could see myself so this is what I did. I'm so funny.This is what she was hoping for. Score one for Mom!Charlotte is a real pest. She always wants to play with me.I'm quite the artist. I draw lots of people and Plex.

Now, for the list of what I've been learning:

-I can do a forward roll. I learned how by watching Little Bill (my current favorite TV show to watch while we're winding down in the evening). You bend over, tuck your head, then push off.

-I can use a regular potty without a step stool. I saw my friend Chloe do it at Tot Spot and figured out that I'm strong enough to get up there with my upper body. I like going potty all sorts of places as long as Mom flushes once I've left the area. Flushing is loud!

-I can use a bucket when I need to puke. Unfortunately, my mom and I both got sick on Tuesday night and we got sick and sick and sick. Daddy helped me out. We went through three sets of sheets and five shirts in one night. He and Nana both got sick two nights later after taking care of me since Mom wasn't able to function.

-I can entertain myself for hours with my dollhouse and Gabbas. I have a big imagination. The only bad part is that I sometimes play with my friends and forget to take my nap.

-I can put on all my clothes with very little assistance. I can also pick out clothes that match perfectly (in my opinion at least). I pick out Charlotte's clothes too.

I'm learning new stuff every day, but those are some of the recent highlights.

I made a friend at Tot Spot this winter. We enjoy hanging out together. One day we rode trikes down the halls and sat in the big chairs. The other day we even went and used the potty room together.Charlotte's been enjoying Tot Spot also. We only have one more week to go before it's closed for the season. That must mean it's going to be nice outside soon.This is what I looked like at nap time on Thursday.I was exhausted, obviously. I looked like this when Mom and Dad got home from their date last night. Hailey and Macy were babysitting me and I was naughty and didn't go to sleep when they told me to. I'll have to do better next time because I love it when they watch me. My cousins are awesome!Look how long my hair is when it's wet.Here's my favorite little doll. I always have to wait until Mom puts her down and stops smooching on her to get a turn. She's a big hog. We all need some Charlotte lovin'.

Do you like my mustache? We just love to eat!I gave Charlotte a tattoo the other day.Mama gave me a tattoo and then told me to look tough for my picture. There's nothing more intimidating than a unicorn tattoo.Who you talking to?Here's a picture of the LAST snow of this winter. It was on March 9th and it's already gone.I got a henna tattoo on Friday at MOMs. There was a speaker from Pakistan and she gave us bangles and tattoos. I was the only kid to get a tattoo.I woke up from a nap and Mama was waiting with the camera.Daddy needed help hanging some pictures so Charlotte and I pitched in. We played with the plastic bags, stole the hammer, stole the level, and ran away with the nails. Mama had to put the camera down after a little bit.There's no longer a big empty space in the formal play room.Mama snuck in and snapped a picture of me during my nap. I'm pretty cute, huh?
We had Nana and Papa over for supper last night and PIE. Yum. We're going to have leftovers today to celebrate PI Day. I'm not too young to be a math nerd.

I didn't disappear, but my parents were gone for a week so that's why I haven't told you what's going on. Here's some pictures for you!We went golfing a couple of weeks ago at Friendship Haven. They do this once a year and it's called Cabin Fever Classic. It was lots of fun!A similar picture to this one even made it into the local paper.This is where my parents were. I had a grand time with my grandparents so we all had a fun vacation.

I love to snuggle up in my bed with my friend, Plex. It's really comfortable in there (especially now that I'm back to keeping my sheets dry after a few days of having accidents).Mama did a little project for my wall. There are lots of people on my wall that love me. My favorite picture is of Milo. I like to play monster with his picture since his eyes are SCARY. I like scary. See the bottom right.We watched Superman the other day and I wore a cape and flew around the living room.Tot Spot had a Valentine's Day party on Tuesday. I got to play some games and eat junk food. Here's a picture of me playing musical hearts.I also played Cupid Says.I was pretty good at pinning the heart on Cupid. I was the closest of all the kids. My friend Ellie almost put her heart on Mama!When we got home from the party, I told Mama that I want straight hair when I turn 4. I want to be pretty like the other girls. That really broke Mama's heart so she made an extra effort to make my hair super beautiful the next day. Look at how pretty and curly I looked before story time!We get special name tags.We also go into a special room with our teacher and no parents are allowed. Cool!I received a tattoo in one of my valentines so Mama let me have it on my arm. I'm tough!And terrifying!It was really warm this morning so we went on a long walk outside.We went past the kitty house. Everyone laughs when I ask to see the kitties at the kitty house (maybe because my k's sound like t's). What's so funny about yelling "I want to see the titties at the titty house! Hey, look at those titties!!!"?Look at those nice big kitties.I loved our walk, but I was excited to see our house. The last hill goes down (thankfully for Mama).
Mama told me that I'm going to get to stay with Nana and then with Grandma next week. I'm excited. I want to read lots of books with them and help them around the house. They're in for an adventure!

I've been busy "helping" Mama a bunch lately, whether she wants help or not. I went through a sweet stage for about a week and a half.Charlotte continues to be in a sweet stage.Daddy likes to pick me up by my head. This is also how I like to pick up Charlotte.Mama took me to our park the other day.I learned how to make snow angels.I even went down the slides.I'm so cool.

I had my three year appointment last week and I'm very healthy. I weighed about 32 pounds and was around 40 inches tall. I still have a bit of a heart murmur, but the doctor wasn't concerned.

I'm still keeping my sheets dry and not wearing diapers. It's awesome!
