The Nana and the Papa

Nana and Papa had a good time with me even though their son was sick. I showed them all the fun faces I can make. Nana read me some stories.

Papa snuggled me on the chair.I gave them lots and lots of hugs before they left and I even said bye-bye after their car pulled away.

A few minutes after Nana and Papa left, Matthew came over to play for a couple of hours. No injuries or major fights to report.

Labyrinthitis

Daddy has viral labyrinthitis and is very, very sick. He has bad vertigo and we had to pick him up from the hospital this morning. He never misses work for being sick. I hope he gets feeling better soon.

Nana and Papa are visiting today. We're having loads of fun playing. I wish it wasn't yucky outside so we could go exploring.

Sick Daddy

My poor daddy is sick. He was dizzy yesterday afternoon and felt better after a nap. He was dizzy again this afternoon and even got sick to his stomach when he got home. He couldn't play with me because he was so dizzy and he went to bed at the same time as me. I hope he gets feeling better soon. Mommy and I are feeling fine so we don't know what happened.

Mommy told me that I'm the best kisser in the world. I've taken to giving her lots of open mouth kisses at bed time. I save them all for her!

Tooth "H" broke through the surface either yesterday or today. It most likely happened yesterday afternoon because it felt different when I nursed last night. Tooth "C" and "M" will probably come soon now. If the previous patterns are followed, then "R" will take its sweet time. Yeah, we're dental dorks.

Grandparents

Grandpa and Grandma came to visit me this past weekend. They were at my house when I woke up from my morning nap on Saturday and left after lunch on Sunday. I hadn't seen them since the middle of January so it took a while to warm up to them. I had to torture them a little bit. Grandpa couldn't resist my belly.It tickles!I gave Grandma an especially hard time and didn't give her any lovings at all for a little bit. She was very patient and looked out the window with me. By the time she left, I was sitting in her lap and giving hugs. Grandpa gave me some treats. I think The Buddy was jealous! I gave him some crackers when Grandpa wasn't looking.Last night Mommy screwed up my supper. She forgot to serve up my portion before adding the cinnamon sugar to the fruit filled puff pancake. My parents let me eat a slice anyway. Sugar is yummy.
Nana and Papa are coming to see me tomorrow and the next day. They were going to come today, but Nana needs to feel better first. She had a bad allergic reaction and had to be on medicine and go to the hospital a few times. It doesn't sound fun at all!

A Whole New World

It was so gorgeous today and I had so much fun! Matthew came over this morning and we played outside for about an hour. I stuck to the sidewalk mainly.I explored the grass some. Mommy is okay with me avoiding grass because that's where Euclid leaves messes (even though she has spent two hours depooping the yard in the last couple of weeks).Matthew tried to become a statistic. Okay, so that car was parked and he mainly stayed out of the street. It's a funny picture though.Matthew loved the grass. He's a brave boy!We gave each other a ton of attention.I stole his toy when we crossed paths.He told on me!He was happy again when he got his toy back. Obviously he forgave me because we played in the neighbors' dirt pots together. Sweet!

We walked over to the mall this afternoon and Mommy ran up the hill by our house. I loved going fast, fast, fast. We also used my swing this afternoon and I walked around on the brick patio in the backyard. I was so happy that I refused to take my afternoon nap.

We're so excited because the forecast for Thursday is a high of 60 degrees. I'd love to go to the park! I need something to do because I'm getting bored with throwing my diapers all over the floor and emptying out my dresser drawers.
