Apple Fest

We went to Apple Fest last weekend and had a fantastic time. There were some games, food, and a whole lot more. I loved the spider and lizard from the Froggy Fly Fling.Rawr!We were there really early and beat the crowd. Later on, you could barely move around those tables.Daddy woke Charlotte up and snuggled up with her so we could go pick a pumpkin.I was ready for a fun ride!We arrived at the pumpkin patch and boy was it cool.There were gourds there too.We found the perfect pumpkin. You have to weigh it so you know how much money to give the guy.I'm priceless.Daddy was proud of his pumpkin.A rare family portrait, thanks to a friend down at the patch.It was time to go back up after we got a pumpkin.I loved holding on to my parents' legs while we went bumpity bumpity up the hill.There's no resisting these cheesy portrait opportunities.This is the scarecrow from the mommy and kids club. We were at the meeting on Friday, but Mama sat around and talked instead of helping so she can't take credit for its beauty. You'll have to blame that on Aunt Emily.We're going to Chicago in a couple of days. I can't wait!!!

Impromptu Visit

Daddy went to visit his cousin, Kris, in Cedar Rapids so Mama took that opportunity to head a little further south to visit some more of our favorite people. MATTHEW and JAMIE and ALAINA!!! They were happy to see us too. Mama had to snuggle Matthew up a little bit.Jamie made us lunch and Matthew and I ate a couple of bites of it. We drank some milk and Matthew went poop in his froggy potty. It was awesome and I've been talking about it ever since.Alaina is getting bigger too. I gave her some kisses and didn't do any "booing". Booing = pain inflicting.Charlotte enjoyed playing with another baby her age. They were adorable together.We sat on the couch to get the couch picture done. It had been quite a while.I loved Matthew's big bed. We snuggled and I tried to soften him up so I could sneak a toy.We gazed into each other's eyes.Charlotte followed in my footsteps and pinned Alaina down. We're feisty girls. I've never been so proud to call her my little sister.We loved getting to see our friends. They're such special people and mean so much to us. We'll go back to visit and have them come our direction some time too.

Mama forgot to include this picture in the last blog. I love to play with all my toys in my bed after I take a nap. This is how she found me the other day. One time I was so cute that Mama climbed right in with me and snuggled up.

Did you miss me?Mama got me some new panties to try to inspire me (Yo Gabba Gabba!). They inspired me to cry after a while so we're on a potty learning hiatus.Charlotte has been attacking me lately and pulling my hair. Mama is no help at all and gets giggling when it happens.At least I know how to take care of myself when I'm sick or hurt.You can run, but you can't hide!!!We went to Community Orchard with Daddy last week. Sad.All aboard!Daddy held me up to look down at the pumpkin patch.This slide is really fast and fun.The goats were hungry, as usual.I refused to cooperate with Mama for silly camera pictures.This is Roger. Can you see his eyes? He's a very nice monster that I give kisses to almost every day.Multi-tasking.

Daddy and I have really been enjoying the new camera. It has a view finder so we can look at ourselves while we take pictures. It makes it easier to pose!Snuggly facesDon't you want to hold me?You may have read about the family bath night in Charlotte's blog, but here's another picture from that fun night.I was full of kisses and wet hugs.I enjoy riding on the back of the trike with Mama. She's fun.Daddy wanted to show me off in my party dress.So big! That's my impression of Charlotte. She just learned that one recently (no pics of it yet).I love my little sister.Grandpa and Grandma have been married for forty years so we all celebrated on Sunday. Look at Uncle Matt!You'd think none of these people knew a camera was pointed at them. LOL!The big kids had a good time sitting outside.Grandpa and Grandma are still in love after all these years.We played outside after supper. Milo is strong!We took turns on the slide.Wee!Wee!I fed Daddy some food after the party. He likes being catered to.He also likes kisses.Charlotte tried really hard to join in (and steal our food).Mama had to scoop me up to steal some loving too.I've made some progress with learning to use the potty. I go diaperless at home except for during naps and at bed time. You'd think that would mean lots of stickers on my potty chart, wouldn't you? Nope. I haven't had any accidents, but I don't go pee in the potty either. I hold it for five hours if that's what it takes to keep the floor clean and the potty vacant. At least I have good control!? I used the potty one time all weekend. I think my parents are getting frustrated.
