Sissy Baby
Sissy baby is starting to get a complex because she isn't getting comments on her blog. Please be sure to visit her blog too! Here's the link: http://littlemisscharlotteanne.blogspot.com/ There are lots of pictures of me there also. I'll have Mommy blog for me in a few days. Oh, and Mommy's blog is going private this weekend so if you haven't read Charlotte/Sissy baby's birth story yet, then you'd better do it before you run out of time.

Babies!
There were two babies at the house this morning. I loved giving them smooches. Can you tell which one is Alaina and which one is Charlotte?
Matthew couldn't care less about babies so I played with him and the legos the majority of the time.
Here's a close up of the cuties.
I crawled all over the babies, but I didn't squash them. I promise!
Alaina is pretty photogenic. Charlotte is too, but she slept the whole play date.
Charlotte can sleep through anything. Mommy burned some toast last night and the smoke detector went off and she barely even startled. Today was our first day having Mommy alone with us and Charlotte and I took a nap at the same time. Mommy ate lunch by herself. Can you believe that? I really need to teach Charlotte how to be more demanding.

Settling Down
Life is settling down for us a bit. Mommy is still treating me like I'm #1, just as it should be. She gives me all the kisses a girl could ask for.
I like playing in the bed in the morning. Guess what's in the bed with us?
Baby Charlotte!
Daddy pulled out the play gym this morning and it was so fun. I loved slamming the top of it down on the baby. I got to show Daddy that he can't do timeouts for me on the upstairs landing because I know how to open doors now. Score one for Mina! I overheard Mommy say something about using the play gym when I wasn't around.
Charlotte is having Mommy type up a blog entry too so don't forget to check out her blog if you didn't notice it earlier. Charlotte on the Web is : http://littlemisscharlotteanne.blogspot.com . Enjoy! Don't believe a word she says about me being naughty. :)

Quick Post
Mommy says that people want to see my new sister. Charlotte Anne arrived at 4:11am on Friday, January 22. She was 7 pounds, 12 ounces and 20.75 inches long. We all think she's pretty cute. It was a quick and easy delivery. She likes to eat all night so Mommy is tired and busy, but here are a couple of pictures to tide you over until things settle down a bit. It may be a few days so please be patient (or Mommy will go insane).

>3
From this point on, it looks like my house is going to hold more than three people. Nana and Papa are coming tonight because the weather is going to be bad tomorrow and then Grandpa and Grandma will be coming after that. Mommy and Daddy better live it up with me tonight! Party time.

My two new favorite things are sitting on stools and putting things up my nose.
We went to tot lot this morning. Don't you love my face?
I hope baby Charlotte comes soon. I can't wait to meet her!

Happy Days
We've been having a great week so far.
We got some fun mail on Monday and I ran around with it for a long time before Mommy finally managed to get a hold of her precious wool. The bag on top contains Charlotte's wool longies that were made by a friend. The bottom bag contains a wool sleep sack that will make Mommy and Daddy have an easier time changing diapers in the middle of the night.
I had my two year check up on Tuesday morning and Mommy promised to bring me to tot lot afterwards if I was good and we had time. I was very good and we were able to play for about half an hour. Look at the chaos!
Behind me you can see my favorite toys of the moment, the roller coasters. At the end of tot lot, I helped put away all of the toys. I put away all of the balls and pushed a few of the trikes over to the entrance to the storage closet. I gave everyone five when I was done. Boy were they impressed (and no, Mommy isn't exaggerating this time).
My appointment was pretty uneventful. I didn't get any shots. I weighed 27 pounds and was about 36 inches tall. I had some blood taken out of my finger for the iron test and I just sat and watched the blood fill the vials. Cool, huh? The only thing that was out of the ordinary is that Dr. Lisa thought she heard a heart murmur. She's never heard one before on me and I'm perfectly healthy so she's just going to take another listen sometime when we're in with Charlotte. Oh, and Dr. Lisa gave me a book about dirty ducks.
We went over to Jamie and Matthew's house this morning. I had tons and tons of fun and we ended up staying until after noon because Mommy and Jamie were talking so much.
Everyone needs a little break now and then.
Matthew's sister is coming on Friday so this was Mommy and Jamie's last chance to get some pictures together before they get all slim and fit again. That's a whole lot of baby!
Our last picture of the 4 of us - soon to be the 6 of us.
Tomorrow Mommy is carting me along to see the nice, curly haired lady that listens to Charlotte in Mommy's belly. I think she's going to take me swimming on Friday so I have a lot to look forward to.

Practicing
Mommy and Daddy have been bringing out all sorts of fun old toys. I've gotten to play with a baby bed and a car seat in the last few days. I remember sitting in here!
What's that you say? The car seat isn't for me?
Oh! A baby gets to use the car seat.
Babies go "wa, wa" and cry like this.
I've also heard that babies like it when you put toys right in their faces because they can't see things that are far away.
I wonder if the baby will like Santa as much as me? He sure can accessorize though.
I know how to double check all the buckles and straps just like my mommy does with me every day.
Daddy was home all weekend and that made all the women in the family very happy.
