On Tuesday, we went swimming with friends Jessica and Ellie at Expo. I loved splashing around in the toddler pool. There was this really buff, tan guy that I kept calling Daddy. I also called the little boys in the pool Matt, but they weren't as cute as the real deal. Mommy didn't take any pictures on Tuesday. Shame on her!.
We went to visit Great Grandma W. on Wednesday morning. I played with her jewelry and her walker and ate some ice cream at the coffee shop. I especially loved riding on the elevator! I don't take after my Great Aunt Shirley.
Here's Great Grandma! I gave her a kiss before we left, but pulled away when Mommy pulled out the camera so Mommy isn't sharing the picture of us together.
Leif came over after lunch that day and he brought my other cousins. I screamed in happiness while we played. They chased me and I chased them back. I pretty much had this face going during their whole visit.
Milo caught me!
Sometimes the paparazzi gets to be a little much.
Wednesday night, I got to see my other cousins at a softball game. I sat still for about 2 minutes, and then led them on a merry chase the rest of the night. Macy and Hailey were in charge so Mommy got to relax.
We had a huge dance party on Thursday morning before we left for home. I learned some awesome new moves. Grandpa is a little concerned that I might become an exotic dancer.

It was a fantastic trip, Mommy seemed to be more herself, I got to see a bunch of family, and I got to have special morning time with Grandpa every day. I woke up over an hour early each day just so I could hang out with him. I haven't gotten up before 7:30 since we got back home. I'm so considerate!
.
I was really glad to get back home to my booster chair. It's my favorite thing to climb (besides my changing table, but that gets me into big trouble).
What a face, huh?
Matt came over on Friday morning so we could renew our friendship. I had a lot to tell him and he's a very good listener.
It started to pour down rain after my nap and Mommy had left the windows open. I attempted to lick the screen door dry. Yum!
Mommy also read that I'm old enough to try shell fish so she gave me a couple of popcorn shrimp to try. I loved them! She was surprised. I like all things breaded so it makes sense. My parents are really glad I don't seem to have any food allergies so far. I've had peanut butter, berries, dairy, eggs, and now shellfish with no issues.
We went to Old MacDonald's Farm at Bever Park on Saturday morning. It was a beautiful day for it. Daddy and Mommy got slightly lost on the way there so I took a cat nap in my car seat.
Old MacDonald had a chicken. E-I-E-I-O
He had all sorts of interesting animals!
I saw a donkey, goats, roosters, cows, pigs, and bunnies to name a few animals.
There were also tons of ducks. I heard a quack quack here!
After we were done visiting all of the animals, we went to the park and played on the jungle gym. I wish I would have had my swim suit so I could have splashed in the water!

I have another fun activity to go to today. We're going swimming at the golf course pool and we're going to have a nice meal afterwards. My sources tell me that Matt is going to be there so I'm super excited about that!

Cheese!
Since I was so well-rested and happy, they decided to take me to the fireworks celebration. I had my bath at my normal time, but then they brought me down to the basement and we watched Horton Hears a Who until it was time to go. We're lucky enough to live within walking distance of great viewing areas so they bundled me up and away we went.
I was completely fascinated by the fireworks and didn't mind the noise at all. It was awesome! It was done at about 10:30 and I started to fall asleep during the finale because I was so tired, but it was well worth it. I woke up at my normal time today in fine spirits. The 4th of July only comes once a year!
There was also a party on Friday with all the people Daddy works with. Mommy looks like she's getting a little chubby, don't you think?
I got in on some games.
There was a really cute dog there too!
As you may have noticed, Mommy announced that I'm going to be a big sister. I don't really understand what's going on, but I'll give you a bit of the story. You'll have to check out the other blog for updates.
She kept making pretty sticks until she got one that was beautiful! After that, she stopped peeing on things in the potty so much. I was starting to think that was normal.
On the morning of June 5th, Mommy started spending lots of time in the bathroom for a different reason. She was SICK!! The first time she got sick was after she drank a red pop and ate some Cheerios. After a few days, she called the doctor because I was up to shenanigans while she was in the bathroom and she was scared about what might happen to me if she couldn't supervise me. Plus, she was sick of me slamming her head with the toilet lid and trying to tug the bucket out of her hands. She tried a couple of different medicines before she found something that made her act pretty normal. Thank goodness! I missed her.
Here's how she looked yesterday! I love kissing her belly.
The wheelbarrow fit into the big bucket too. You can tell how intently busy we were by our faces.

I'm obsessed with climbing.
Mommy almost caught a smile.
There was just too much to do to stop to pose.
We had to get stripped down before we could go inside the house because we were soaked. I was fascinated by the cartoon characters on Matthew's diapers. Too bad Mommy didn't catch a picture of me doing a close-up inspection! It was pretty funny.
Mommy lets me splash outside almost every day, but it was much more fun with my favorite guy!
Mommy had to wash the sand off of me so she sprayed me down with the hose when we got home. It was cold! We shared lunch and then who knows what she did during my nap.
After supper, I helped take the diapers off of the line outside. This is the laundry dance.
I entertained
Peace!

After we were done outside, I let Mommy give me a bath to wash off the caramel dip. We snuggled for a while and I made her read me the animal book. I handed it to her, said "uh oh", and ran away. I came back to look at the pictures eventually. I didn't see Daddy today, but he's going to have cake with Mommy when he comes home. He decorated her cake for her this year. Isn't it gorgeous? I hope this is the last year that Daddy is away from Mommy on both their anniversary and her birthday. It should be!
